I Decided to play in the PTQ for Rome exactly one week before the event. At
that point I was just going to play death, it was very consistent and
playtested Rath very little since Worlds.
I have also been out of the PTQ scene lately because I have been getting in
through rating.
Anyway up through the Friday before the event I was going to play Death I
anticipated it to be all over the place so I decided to play some mono blue
thing i came up with the night before/day of the event.

3       Cloud Spirit (I wanted some offensive creature, this was better than i
thought

I won in 2 very close games
I think this is a bad match up for me should have mor in the SB

This is Ian's father I win a close game 1
He wins game 2 with 4 tradewinds and 2 Scarnoths ah!
Game 3 i go Turn 1 Mox land Keeper of the mind
Turn 2 draw with keeper play another keeper
I have 6 mana when he only has 4 i play portcullis he counters i counter back
and kill him with 2 Keepers

I win game
I get a slow start in game 2 he gets quick shadows i lay a hunter he
repentances i lose
In game three i have total board control i am domaging him with a drifter
drawing cards with Keepers killing his stuff with torture chamber just played
a tradewind but i never draw a counter of any kind so he eventualy cataclysms
i lose very close after that too

I get very good draws and kill him with various creatures curiositied and
counter his stuff

the standings come out he is 9th that sucks all the matches went wrong for him
and his tie breaks went down this match could have went either way.
