So if you could please post my below report. Thanx. Hi everyone. It was just another weekly tourney at my friendly neighborhood Magic shop. Me my cuz and my bro end up going and I play what got me second last week...my white weenie deck. Here's my deck for all xerox copy machines: 4 Soltari Monk 4 Soltari Priest 4 Order of the White Shield 4 Longbow Archer 2 Soltari Champion 2 Paladin en-vec 3 'Geddons 3 'Wrath's 1 Cataclasm 3 Disenchant 4 'Armors 2 Mox Diamond 4 Mana Leak 14 Plains 3 City of Brass 2 Adarkar Wastes 1 Wasteland 'Board: 3 CoP Red 2 Light of Day 2 Karma 2 Chill 2 Mind Bend 2 Perish 1 Disenchant Well the tourney was all around great fun. Got a lot of trading in. It was 19 people one short of the usual 20+-. So only 4 rounds swiss. Top 4 to finals. So on to it.. Round one: Some guy playing CounterBurn Game one I get first turn Pro red shadow creature and second turn Armor it was basically game for a burn deck every time I did that today. Side in the chills and CoPs. Second game goes first turn chill, Mox, and second turn CoP which was Forfid. Then I get two shadows out. Around sixth turn he had Mox Diamond and Lotus Vale as he's only mana sources, so I disenchant the Mox and wasteland the Vale it was then game. Games: 2-0 Matches 1-0 Pts 3 Match two: John Jacobs playing SRG This game I got out the armored priest and served until he's wall of blossom's became Verdant force, with help of Natural Order. I then wrath and kill with weenies. Sideboard in perish and one disenchant, he was playing with vineyards.Every game a vineyard hit turn one and i had a disenchant turn one or two. This game the Force came out again turn four via Order and this time no wrath, game. Game 3 see game two. Games: 3-2 Matches 1-1 Pts 3 Well i'm not doing bad still have a chance at getting in. Meanwhile my cuz Mike is at 1-1 and so is my bro Dean. Round 3: Some guy playing Red Green Fat Game one the turn one red shadow turn two armor was too much for him. Game two I also get turn one red shadow turn two armor but turn three he plays Tranquility turn four his Mox Monkey ate my mox. This and a Lancer with a spike drone counter, 3/3, held me before I wrathed and took game with 4 weenies. Games: 5-2 Macthes 2-1 Pts 6 Well I need to win this next one to have a chance at fianl 4. My cuz is also 2-1 but Dean is 1-2 after losing a squeker. Round 4: A guy playing black red beatdown I talked to this guy during the initial suffling. He said he hit a white deck almost every roud and last round the guy had cop red straight in deck otherwise he'd be the seond undefeated man so far. Play more disks man and we're off. He get fast start. Speed is almost too much but I pull it off the turn before he Hatred's for the kill I cataclasm. Side in almost all red black stuff but only decide on 2 chill 3 cop 2 light of day. Got em scared by making him think the whole board was coming in. This game he plays a Fallen Askari which goes all the way from his superior draw. This game I get out thrid turn light of day he plays disk i disenchant. So out comes all the red turn before he wins I geddon. It goes attack for 2 i'm at 7 i attck for 4 he's at 2 I cataclasm he craps his pants and yells. Next turn he attacks i'm at 5 he Sonic Bursts me i'm at one he conceeds and shows me his hand BURN. Yikes that was close. Games: 7-3 Matches 3-1 Pts 9 One person has 12 pts he's playing some kind of prison deck. I go over to talk to my cuz he's at 3-1 too but doesn't think he's in but i tell him his opponent ranking is high but he still doubts. The coordinator then tells us one more round will be played so I fresh top4 will be decided. Cool another chance to lose. 8p. Round 5: I guy I know named Jason I played Jason for fun earlier with a different deck he is cool. His deck was odd kinda Peaches kinda not he had Buried Alive with recurring Nightmare started messing with my creatures but I win with the help of a mana leak of his blocker. Side in mind bends and disenchant. Mind bend worked against Nekrataal his birdy of paradise died. I later Armor a monk for victory. Games 9-2 Matches 4-1 Pts 12 Well Mike lost damn but one 9 pointer gets in. We wait hes not it the guy with the red black beatdown deck i played earlier got in. Oh well Mike if it were quaters you'd a made it you ended 5th. Finals: 1st: Jeremy with U/G lock deck 2nd: Me with 3cW 3rd: ????? with Sligh 4th: ???? with B/R Beat Semis: ???? with Sligh Well i've been waiting to play sligh to see how my deck would do. First turn he plays raging goblin. then does the usual but he is playing sandstalkers in his deck no moggs. He burns me to a crisp. Side in chills and CoPs. Second game is really close. Comes down to one last turn i have priest armored next turn he's dead. i'm at two he has no cards in hand he has raging goblin out and needs to drawburn draws a slinger that's game. Thrid game was brutal I draw 2 chill 1 mox 1 plain 1 city 2 priest. I play first and second turn chill then 5th turn cop red with the armored priest to back it up. Well Jeremy won so i play him. I only know at this point he's playin' U/G Prison. I kill him very fast after having answers to his propagandas and prendell's mists and counter what looked to be his game winner Nature's Revolt. Side in disenchant and Perish, he had losta green critters. He goes turn one beta bird turn two pincher bettle ans kept playin' critters but so did i had he hasn't drawn a blue mana source since. i ask him looking for an for one card he says yes island i say i'm looking for one card too. At this point I have 6 creatures to his 6 and my priest is hitting every turn. I draw my one card finally Mox diamond i cast PERISH. Its game he asks to see my hand I say crap two critter and 2 land. He says wow. I shoulda asked to see his hand probably full of blue propaganda's and mists. So i win 25 dollars store credit not too good not too bad for 3 dollar little tourney. I but a Propaganda and a city of brass and Mox Diamond and go home. After thinking i need to add firestorm and tithe to the deck but I recently traded my tithes knowing full well one day i'll need them. Well bye.
