This deck deals quite well with the most popular Visage decks. Black and Red are extremely popular as well as decks that use cadaverous bloom or natural balance to torch the opponent for 20. Honourable passage is a great card against all these deck types. And even against decks without any red it is a strong card. Another feature of the deck is its ability to kill skulking ghosts and Tar Pit Warriors easily, these are very popular in the Visage environment. Another strong feature is the decks inexpensive creatures and mono-colour make it resistant to land destruction and land disruption. There are several strong land destruction cards in Visage. The deck works on a mana curve with a few pumpable creatures to use mana late in the game. The honourable passage and Zhalfirin Crusaders make great finishers. 4 Protection from red creatures plus 4 honourable passage in the main deck make it strong versus the mono-red Visage decks that are so incredible popular lately.
