This deck has performed very well in tournaments. It is proabably the
best possible deck available in the current type 2. It does depend a
little on what everyone else is using though. Almost every card in
the deck can deal with many different threats. Counterspells, disks
and Ghost Ships are very flexible and powerful cards. Since this deck
is mono colour and has 27 lands it rarely gets not enough land. Since
11 of these 27 lands serve a purpose in addition to producing mana the
deck rarely gets too much mana. The decks
ability to deal with many threats plus its ability to avoid mana screw
makes it a very consistent deck.
