Subject: The Battleford Deck Anniversay

If anyone cares, the Battleford deck is one year old.  I came up with
the deck last year at this time, and it has served me well, very well.

The Battleford is a mono-green deck that has seen a nice amount of
success in the Type II environment.  It's trademarks include: Scryb
Sprites, Armor of Thorns and Foratog. (I could also say Centaurs and
River Boa's, but every mono-green deck uses these)  I have been
working and testing to figure out what the new Battleford would be for
me this winter.  And I found the answer in the card that everyone
won't quit talking about, THE CURSED SCROLL.  This card is so strong
in the Turbo Battleford deck...  Here is my decklist for the
Battleford 98 deck.  If anyone is wondering, it's been child tested
and mother approved, just like Kool-aid.  Oh yeah, and it wins lots
and lots (like all Battleford decks do)

4 Llanowar Elves (duh)
4 Scryb Sprite (the patented Armored 3/3 Big ass Scryb wins games)
4 Mtenda Lions (Slow down blue decks and beat all other decks up)
4 River Boa (Standard)
4 Centaurs (Standard as well)
4 Elvish Archers (or Dervish, play the Meta Game)
2 Foratog (Battleford Trademark)

4 Giant Growth (Duh once again)
4 Armor of Thorns (Laugh not, turn those elve, Lions and Scryb's into
heavy hitters on the second turn)
3 Cursed Scroll (finishing blow and critter control all packed into
one, WOW)

4 Quicksand
16 Forest

61 cards

Sideboard: anti artifact/enchantment, 3-4 Worbs and 3-4 Scragnoth, for
those damn mono-blue bouncy deck (which i love to play with, hate to
play against)
