Subject: Deck Date: Tue, 09 Dec 1997 18:42:20 -0800 From: Cloud To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com I went to a tourney a couple days ago, I really didn't have my deck finished, so I made a deck out of my friends cards (he was playing mono-blue bounce). I was actually surprised that it worked. I call this, R/W stupidness Red 4 ininerates 4 kindles 3 hammers of bogardan 3 orggs 2 wildfire emmissaries 4 suq'ata lancers White 4 pacifisms 3 wraths of god 3 armaggeddon 2 disenchants 4 knights of dawn (really) 4 zhalfrin crusaders Artifacts 4 cursed scroll (mmm good) 4 mind stones Lands 4 gemstone mines 4 undiscovered paradise 6 plains 6 mountains Sideboard 4 choke 2 disenchants 4 pyroblasts 3 earthquakes 2 winter orbs I really didn't know what I was doing, but I didn't have my current "project" (deck) finished and I had some money to burn. WHat I was worried about was sligh and blue... so my sideboard... I really didn'y know what I was doing... really Match 1 me vs. ??? This guy was some little kid with a 80 card mono-black deck... Game 1 : my hand was decent, and I went along, killing all his creatures. I summonned aan orgg and geddoned Game 2 : I didn't sideboard anything, the kid didn't have one... I beat him when I got the hammer bounce-bak going Match 2 me vs. ??? deck : 5CW game 1 : well, nothing really has protecto red except the monk, but I wrath away all his weenies. We sit here drawing cards for about 6 turns a peice, and not doing anythiing. I reallize that I had enuff mana for hammer recursion, and administer hammer burn game 2 : I really wish I had a blood moon... I sideboard in the disenchants pulling out pacifisms and begin. The guy summons creature after creature, I try to wraath but it's sinked. I can't get rid of the swarm and when he geddons, thats it Game 3 : I whip out my knight of dawn and zhalfrin and my emissarie and administer beatdown hehehe Match 3 me vs. ??? propa-orb Game 1 : I really can't do anything and he gets lockdown and starts cursed scrolling me to deth in go the chokes and pyroblasts out go the pacifisms and wraths Game 2 : I get out an early choke and he whims it, SHit.... Wwell I pretty much die.... damn damn damn
