(MUST have the bazaar!) 4 x Dark Ritual. 4 x Animate Dead. 4 x Shallow Grave. 1 x Nevinyrral's Disk. 4 x Ashen Ghoul. 4 x Nether Shadow. 4 x Krovikian Horror. (You rarely cast these. They are to turn the bazaar into a library of alexandria.) 4 x Nicol Bolas. (Ha Ha! Woe be the white player who taps out turn 1 to cast his Savanah Lions!) 3 x Crimson Hellkite. (New improvement. They are better than the Mahamoti, and they just Rock white weanie. White weanie with all pro black is a headache for this 4 x Deep Spawn. (Lets see, Not only does he trample, and mills 2 cards for me, but My opponent can't target him?? Wow, such a deal for 1B!) deck.) 4 x Badlands. 4 x Underground Sea. 1 x City of Brass 7 x Swamps. Optional 1 x Swamp 1 x Zur's Wieding 1 x Diamond Valley. (This block is VERY good against burn heavy environments. 7 Life is just too much for them to burn through!) Sideboard. 1 x Crimson Hellkite. 4 x Necromancy 4 x Incinerate. 2 x Nevinyrral's Disk. Fill to Taste. Sometimes Mahamoti, sometimes Shivans. On a rare occasion an archangel or two. Note about the sideboard. When I go to most tournaments, I tend to leave the sideboard at home. I realize that it is obviously better to have a sideboard, but the deck is a lot of fun to play, and when I go to tournaments with it, it is often just because I want to play the deck. Besides, it wins SO often that a sideboard is really just a luxury. This makes the deck one of the best candidates I have every seen for a switcheroo sideboard. One of the best examples of this is to pull the shallow graves and the nicol bolas against players you expect/know are prepared for him, and put in the necromancy and the crimson hellkite. Another switch I have done is the Shivan Dragon/ red creatures to deal with Blood Moon boy. The sanity of these switches can definately be called into question! Alan Comer
