Except for that card, it is (pre-Urza's) type II. (For those who don't know: The Cheese Stands Alone WW4 Enchantment If you control no cards in play other than The Cheese Stands Alone and have no cards in your hand, you win the game.') Unglued Cheese -------------- ARTIFACT 4xLion's Eye Diamond (what a bad, bad card) GREEN 4xGaea's Blessing (put combo/creature sweepers/itself/land back in deck) 4xRampant Growth (read the flavour text on the Tempest version!) 4xUntamed Wilds GOLD 4xSavage Twister LAND 4xForest 4xBrushland 4xVec Townships 4xMountain 4xPlain RED 4xFirestorm WHITE 4xReaping the Rewards 4xArmageddon 4xWrath of God 4xThe Cheese Stands Alone [60] The basic idea is to get land out fast and cast the Cheese. Then 'geddon, play and sacrifice Lion's Eye, and win the game before you take mana burn. You can also win in a couple of other ways e.g. 'geddon without Lion's Eye, but Firestorming your hand away in response. Notes ----- * This deck will get a big boost if the Claws of Gix card mentioned on mtgnews really is in Urza's (ARTIFACT costing 0 that lets you tap and pay 1 to sack a permanent for 1 life). * Obviously, this deck can be modified in a number of ways. The Lion's Eye and Reaping element was suggested by my friend Phil who says he would make it G/W and totally combo-oriented. Personally, I prefer having the creature sweepers and a second way to empty my hand. b or u/G/W versions are certainly possible. * Why no Jokulhaups? Because the bugger is tricky enough to play already (e.g. be very careful how much you land you Reap away - remember you are pulling extras out of the deck). Other cards I thought about using were FE sack lands, Earthquake, Crypt Rats, Mishra's Factory, Kjeldoran Outpost, sackable creatures, spells that give token creatures. It's a crying shame that Constant Mists cost G1 and not G... * If you really want to, you can swap out some lands for G/x multi's and change the Untamed Wilds to Nature's Lore. It doesn't help much. * I know there is no way in the deck to actually use Lion's Eye. Haven't come up with a satisfactory solution yet. * If allowed to do its own thing, 'Unglued Cheese' can win on turn 5! Adam (who has finally made a combo deck o'rares!)
