For a couple of weeks now, I've been working on ways to improve my green deck, "The Swarm". My friends have given me some feedback, but I think that I require more if I am to make this a "tournament worthy" deck. Read over it and tell me what you think! E-mail your comments to: goldeneye_bond@hotmail.com Here it is: Creatures: 1 Eladamri, Lord of Leaves (he, he, he!) 1 Verdant Force (Read on to find out the purpose of this card) 4 Skyshroud Elf (for fast mana production) 1 Llanowar Elves (Another fast mana source) 2 Quirion Elves (a multi-colour mana source) 1 Wall of Blossoms (for early card advantage, as well as slowing down weenie decks.) 2 Rogue Elephant (early big creatures) 2 Skyshroud Ranger (I have quite a few forests, and to thin my deck) 2 Fugitive Druid (I also have some creature enchantments) 2 Wood Elves (again, to thin my deck) 3 Spike Feeder (some gain life) 4 Jackalope Herd (Just a big one for less mana) 1 Quirion Ranger (for some degree of control) 1 Spike Breeder (for some creatures that will be useful; so read on!) 1 River Boa (I need more of these babies) 1 Cartographer (Also need these for sideboard against land destruction) 1 Seeker of Skybreak (helpful little fella) Other Spells: 1 Overrun (to run my enemy into the ground) 1 Coat of Arms (to beef up everything. In comes the Verdant Force!) 1 Aluren (many creatures in this deck are cheap) 1 Volrath's Gardens (some more life gain) 1 Mortuary (to protect against targeted creature removal) 1 Field of Souls (also used with Coat of Arms) 1 Survival of the Fittest (in case I draw an unneeded creature early on) 1 Respite (to protect against some early swarms) 1 Altar of Dementia (use in conjunction with Coat of Arms) 1 Awakening (to help out with everything in general) 1 Broken Fall (to regenerate a fallen comrade)(sniff) 1 Burgeoning (once again, my land amount) 2 Primal Rage (Once my creatures get big and nasty, see YA!) 2 Briar Shield (to beef up the druids, as well as draw cards) Mana Sources: 3 Lotus Petal (any kind of mana, but mostly for Field of Souls) 1 Charcoal Diamond (for the Mortuary) 16 Forest (like I said earlier...)
