I was looking at you Best of the decks section and i seen a link to which was attached, several decks of Mike Donais. Under that section was a type 2 version of his Awakening deck which stepped outside of the original rath cycle version of the deck. This deck is one of the best decks that i have ever seen. After playing it, none of my friends think of green as an empty color anymore and it always gets that *oh no! not that deck response at the table. Its really fun and has won all the local tourneys i have went to (well i've only been to two this month). Like i said, thanks for posting such great decks Frank. EXODUS IS OUT NOW! Noone can tell me that this isnt a decent set. Come on folks. Dont you expect Wizards to make half of a set be full of useless cards by now?! Takes the ones that are good and use the hell out of them. Mike, is my inspiration to play a splash of green in all my decks and here goes a green and white one for the best of the decks section. Name: Can you catch me?? Land: 4 vec township 1 undiscoverd (amazingly great in this deck. ) 2 grass land 1 reflecting pool 1 brush land 6 forest 5 plain 22 land Artifacts: 2 mox diamond More ways to retrieve land: 3 new exodus land tax 1 tithe Life gain: 2 reaping the rewards (sorry sligh sorry suicide black) 2 peace of mind (sorry sligh sorry suicide black) 4 soul warden ( do i need to repeat myself?) Recursion: 3 gaes blessing (great with avenging druid) Panic Buttons: 3 Cataclysm (the my creature is bigger than yours and i got a peace of mind on the table card) Creatures: 2 pegasis stampede ( i need to use that new land tax again so heres some tokens for you to deal with) 4 avenging druid 3 cartographer 4 harvest wurm 4 fallow worm 3 rogue elephant yes, i do like the beatdown This deck is fairly simple. When you start playing it, you'll see. Basically you can fetch out land with the avenging druid and taxes and sac them out for either tokens or life. No matter where the land is, its useful in some way. All your creatures like the lands to be where they are and your deck puts them there quick. Your life total should soar dramatically and this is one of those decks where everything seems to flow just right. It doesnt like to let you down and always seems to anger your opponent. It has several side themes also but if you have time to build it, you'll see them. Anyways, if you make it and you like it, E-mail me at Tdawgs007@aol.com Thanks for reading, Richard Taylor
