Subject: New Exodus Deck Date: Thu, 18 Jun 1998 15:04:27 EDT From: DrgnLair@aol.com To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Whitewater Surprise By Adam Lipinski As soon as I found out about seismic assult, It got me thinking. What gets land in your hand? Hermit druid, qeer rangers, Cartographers(from exodus, 1/3 for 2G that puts any land from your graveyard to your hand) But then I thought about what ends up in your graveyard. I put in blessings, but that stoped cartographers and had limited the options that the deck could have. The answer: Lhurgoyf. It gets huge and can get really anoying for your opponent, but it really serves as a big blocker, because little creatures get in its way. (If it had trample, that would be different) Kindles also build up as they enter the graveyard, so I threw 4 in. Reclaims are great to get back milled stuff. But would Hermit druids be enough? Avenging druids (1/3 for 2G, when it damages opponent, mill until you get a land and put it into play) put land in play, but still mill stuff. Upon thinking of a name, A few friends of mine suggested that it had somthing to do with Whitewater (Clintons Real-Estate scandle ( land discarding, land scandle. get it? )) Yeah, I thought it was corny too, but the name, Whitewater Surprise, has a nice ring to it. Well enough talk, here's the deck.
