Dear Frank,

I designed and tuned this "Flexible Black" deck together with its sideboard to
give the player his best chance in what I perceive will be the metagame once
Exodus is legal. My test decks include Mono-Red Blast, The Weenies (White
Weenie, Merfolk with Equilibrium, Goblin Sligh, ANOTHER Suicide Black), and
5-Color Tradewind-Headache.

This deck gives you enough flexibility it can win in one of 5 different ways:
Gallowbraid, Living Death, Drain Life, Hatred, and Black Weenie Beatdown.

I've long felt that just as the most important shot in golf is the 2nd one,
the most important game in Magic is the 2nd. You dig into your sideboard to
win the match or keep yourself alive. The sideboard was designed WITH the deck
to put you in a good position against whichever of the many deck types you may
face.

4 Bad Moon - if I'm playing AGAINST another Suicide Black, we'll let HIM play
this card. :-)
