Subject: [DECK] Date: Sun, 26 Jul 1998 14:54:05 -0400 From: "John" To: T2 Necromancy Deck A couple of months ago I decided to create a deck that focused around bringing big creatures out of the graveyard and putting them directly into play. It has gone through many changes since I first made it into what it is now. In my social group it has become the most feared T2 deck. Its current win/loss record is 28/1. Its one loss was against one of my friends who decided to try and make a deck like mine. He took my creatures and attacked me with them. Now onto the deck: Creatures: 1 Sliver Queen Big Creature, Creates weenies 3 Teeka’s Dragons Big Creature, Flyer, Nice Rampage 2 Skyshroud Vampires Pump it up and put creatures in your graveyard to resurrect them, Flyer 1 Spirit of the Night Big Creature, Flyer, A lot of good abilities 4 Verdant Forces Big Creature, Creates weenies non-stop 2 Coffin Queen Get big creatures out of the graveyard Total: 13 Spells: 4 Mana Leaks Counter their creatures, Counter their counters 4 Mystical Tutors Get your Necromancies, Living Deaths, etc. 2 Æther Storm Stop your opponent from bringing out creatures 4 Necromancies Bring your creatures out quickly 4 Buried Alives Put your creatures in your graveyard quickly 4 Living Deaths Bring all your creatures out of your graveyard 4 Recurring Nightmares Use with the Verdant Force’s tokens 4 Dark Rituals Quick Mana Total: 29 Artifacts: 3 Mox Diamond Artifact mana Total: 3 Lands: 2 Crystal Veins Sac it for the Mox 2 City of Brasses Use with Reflecting Pool 2 Undiscovered Paradises Any colour mana, use with Reflecting Pool 4 Reflecting Pools Use with City of Brasses and Undiscovered Paradises 6 Swamps Obvious 5 Islands Obvious Total: 21 Total Cards: 66 Combos: Verdant Force + Recurring Nightmare: Sac the 1/1 tokens to bring out your big creatures from the graveyard. Skyshroud Vampire + Creatures in hand: Discard creatures to pump it up then bring the creature’s into play with your other spells. Send any comments, suggestions, etc. to me. John Winter riptor@mgl.ca
