Subject: T2 Decks Date: Mon, 13 Jul 1998 01:14:30 EDT From: ScottGames@aol.com To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com This is my first post and I hope you enjoy it. These are a few of the decks I have been working on. Many are decks that you may have seen on the dojo before in various forms, but I have tested and tuned to fit my style. Scott's Sligh 1cc 2cc 3cc Burn ---------- ---------- ---------- -------------- 4 Fanatics 4 Flunkies 4 Ball Lightnings 4 Incinerates 4 Jackel Pup 3 Suq'Ata Lancer 4 Shock 3 Vandal 4 Fireblast 3 Goblin D.T. 3 Scrolls 1 Goblin Bombardment Land: 19 Mountains This deck needs little explanation. It is all beatdown and if you don't get the quick kill the game is over. The sideboard will very greatly based on you local metagame, but the deck has problems with peaches and 4cWW. 4cSligh 1cc 2cc 3cc Burn ---------- ---------- ---------- -------------- 4 Fanatics 4 Flunkies 3 Ball Lightnings 4 Incinerates 4 Jackel Pup 3 Suq'Ata Lancer 4 Shock 3 Vandal 3 Fenetic Efreets 2 Fireblast 3 Goblin D.T. 4 Scrolls Land: 13 Mountains 4 City 2 Undiscovered 1 Gemstone Sideboard ----------- 4 Pyroblast 4 Passage 3 Mana Leak 2 Slight 2 Tranquil Domain This deck is based on Schneider's 5 Color Geeba, but I feel it is much stronger before sideboarding. It also has a better method of killing when in control mode and more late game damage sources with the addition of fenetics. "Underwood 4CW" 4 Paliden En'Vec 4 Soltari Priest 4 White Knight 4 Warrior en-Kor 4 Freewind Falcon 2 Disenchant 2 Firestorm 2 Terror 4 Incinerate 4 Cursed Scroll 4 Tithe 4 Mox Diamond 2 Gemstone Mine 2 Undiscovered Paradise 2 City of Brass 12 Plains This is one of the strongest decks I feel in the current metagame and with a good sideboard can handle almost any deck. Some versions will use armors in the place of scrolls, but I fould the removal to be a superior to the added damage of the armor. Suicide Black 4 sarcomancy 4 carnophage 4 dauthi horror 4 dauthi slayer 4 erg raider 4 black knight 2 hatred 3 unholy strength 3 bad moon 3 cursed scroll 1 spite 4 dark ritual 19 swamp 1 stronghold Sideboard: 4 gloom 3 bottomless pit 3 wall of souls 3 ebony charm 2 disk With the addition of hatred suicide black was given a new tool for speed. It is the only deck I have been able to get a turn 3 kill regularly. The deck isn't based on the use of hatred for turn 2 kill, but as a way to add that extra couple of damage you need for the kill. "Draw Go" 4 Force Spike 4 Counterspell 4 Mana Leak 4 Forbid 2 Dismiss 4 Legacy's Allure 4 Whispers of the Muse 4 Impulse 4 Steel Golem 4 Nevinyrral's Disk 4 Quicksand 2 Stalking Stones 4 Underground River 12 Island Sideboard: 3 Bottle Gnomes 4 Hydroblast 2 Lobotomy 2 Perish 2 Dread of Night 2 Cursed Totem This deck is based on the draw go and Finkle blue decks. It has also been played with edicts in the place of allures (they proved to be a slighly weeker method of creature control). Feel free to E-mail me with any comments and suggestions for any of the decks. Any input would be helpfull. Thanks. Scott Tompkins ScottGames@aol.com Team Camel
