Subject: a deck to print ("Tuned Oath") Date: Sun, 12 Jul 1998 14:14:43 +0200 From: 077351899-0001@t-online.de (Hans Peter Rodenhausen) To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Hey! Since the Pre-Release of Exodus I've been looking for a real strong and completly new deck! Of course the new versions of the sligh , greenstompy(with viney. and deserttw.), suicide black and the "new Kastle" (with Anarchist and this stuff) are very strong; but all those decks don't really use the new potential of Exodus... But then I saw Aaron Souders "Oath of Druids-Deck"(which did well at the US-Open). This deck is still in its design-pfase, but I'm sure it will become a standart-deck in the current envirionment. After a while of tuning I came out with this version: "Tuned Oath" by Anselm Rodenhausen 4 x Oath of Druids 4 x Counterspell 7 x Forest 2 x Gaea's Blessing 3 x Forbid 10 x Island 4 x Spike Feeder 4 x Mana Leak 2 x Wasteland 3 x Creeping Mold 1 x Intuition 2 x Undiscovered Paradise 2 x Sylvan Libary 4 x Propaganda 1 x Reflecting Pool 1 x Verdant Touch 1 x Spirit of the Night 1 x Volcanic Dragon Sideboard: 2 x Verdant Touch (against creatureless decks: Bloom,Zvi,Pandenaught,Prison,...) 1 x Creeping Mold 1 x Gaea's Blessing 4 x Hydroblast 2 x Elephant Grass (against Hatred, Stompy, Sligh,...) 2 x Phyrexian Furnance (against Kastle, Godzilla, 14, Survival o.t.F.-decks,...) 1 x Winter Orb 2 x Dissipate One last comment: the V. Dragon is much better than a Archangel or a Spike Hatcher or any other Fatti!!!! Thanx for reading!
