Subject: Deck-Please post Date: Mon, 6 Jul 1998 00:00:44 EDT From: DBeishline@aol.com To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Hi Frank! This is a deck idea I thought of. It is a combo deck and uses a few cards from Exodus so you might not be farmiliar with these... I don't go to many tournoments but was hoping I could get some feedback on this deck I call it Seismic Mulch: 4 Seismic Assualt (Exodus--RRR Enchantment, Discard a land Card:Deal 2 damage to target critter or player) 4 Mulch-(lands in my hand, damage to you and yer critters) 4 Hermit Druid-(see above) 4 Avenging Druid-(does a hermit druid fer any land if unblocked, repetitive, eh?) 4 Reclaim (Exodus--G Instant, Put one card from graveyard ontop of yer library--helps get back non land cards I need that were destroyed or mulched) 4 Gaea's Blessing-(recycles my graveyard when mulched so I have a deck and lands too!) 4 Birds of Paradise-(say what? I know I've got the lands but I don't want to play that many, also helps with Assualt's mean cast cost) 4 Skyshroud Elf-(see above, also blocks and help under orb) 4 Wall of Blossoms-(its a blocker, cantrip, and maybe will do some damage if I draw a land :-) 4 Winter Orb-(I figured not having many lands out it couldn't hurt....me) 4 Undiscoverd Paradise-(comes back into my hand after use, again helps with mean cast cost of assualt) 10 Forest-(figure it out) 6 Mountains-(seems like too much for only 4 red cards, but any less just wouldn't due) As for sideboard I'm really not sure. I'm thinking pyroblast, creeping mold, and lifeforce, but I'm not sure what else. I think Mold might be good in main deck, but there really aren't any standard cards that bother me. Disk does bother me. And COP Red and the such seems just a little annoying. I don't really like combo decks because I never seem to get the key card(s). In this deck it isn't such a problem because of all the Druids and Mulch. Any Feedback you could give me would be great. PS-Is this idea original? I know there were land's edge decks long ago but what about this...? --David Beishline DBeishline@aol.com
