OK here's the actual listing of the deck I spoke of: 4 Tombstone Stairwell 4 Altar of Dementia 4 Birds of Paradise 4 Nekrataal 4 Wall of Blossoms 4 Tradewind Rider 4 Bottle Gnomes 4 Uktabi Orangutan 2 Man'O'War 2 Dauthi Horror 7 Forest 5 Swamp 3 Island 2 City of Brass 2 Undiscovered Paradise 3 Bad River 1 Volrath's Stronghold 1 Winding Canyons How it works: In the beginning this deck works like a Tradewind-Control-Deck, use the come-into-play-abilities of the various creatures to control the game and the Tradewinds to control time. The opponent will try to destroy your creatures, but that's OK since you are just waiting for that, havin the two cards in your hand that will finish him in one round: the Altar and the Stairwell. Lay them both if you have 3 to 5 creature in your graveyard to start the engine. After you layed the two cards, your opponents turn will start with as many tokens as creatures in your yard. No matter what your opponent does, use the tokens either after blocking or at the end of the turn to activate the Altar to mill your own library. As you have 28 creatures this move should double the amount of critters buried (each token mills two, every second card is a creature), so that you will start your turn with about ten tokens, and for the first time you pay the upkeep. Now you can attack with ten and if he can stop this, mill the tokens to your opponents library at the end of your turn and in his upkeep (40 cards milled in one turn!). That should be enough to win. Of cours you can also win by Tradewind-Control and Dauthy-Horror-Beatdown, thats the strenght of the deck, to have several ways to win. The Stronghold and the Canyons are in to test them in play, but the Canyons didn't work by now. The Stronghold is OK since you never run out of creatures if your opponent uses mass destruction. The great weakness of the deck are Auras against it and white weenie, although I put in the blues to manage that. So what do you think, is there something to improve? Maybe the creature-mix. I thought about Noble Benfactor of Sage Owl to get the combo... Tobias >---------- >Von: Douglas Tave[SMTP:urania@harborside.com] >Gesendet: Mittwoch, 24.
