Subject: Geae's Recursion Date: Wed, 29 Apr 1998 22:43:37 EDT From: Tonypatron To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Frank, I love Geae's Blessing. I love it. If it were legal, I might even marry the damn card. ( which I think is only legal in Alabama and Kentucky :) I have many different versions of a Geae's recursion deck, and this one works well. 4x Geae's Blessing 4x Wrath of God 4x Gerrard's Wisdom 3x Disenchant 2x Jester's Cap 4x Impusle 4x Mystical Tutor 4x Counterspell 4x Dismiss 1x Winds of Wrath 2x Whispers of the Muse 4x Flooded Plains 3x Undiscovered Paradise 2x City of Brass 2x Reflecting Pool 6x Plains 6x Islands 1x Forest This deck could function without the green, but without the Blessings, I feel empty inside. With 4 Impulses, 4 Mystical Tutors, 4 Geae's Blessings, and 2 Whispers, this deck can churn through to find the key cards in a matter of a few turns. The Winds of Wrath is still an undecided. I like the 5th Wrath in the deck, but maybe a Pursuit of Knowledge would go better, and Pursuit + Wisdom = game. The deck as a whole needs no real explanation, but I have time to kill. Use the drawing engine to find the cards that you need. Wrath and Wisdom to take control of the game, and counter any viable threats. You will run them out of cards via Blessing, asuming they don't Lobotomy or Cap your ass. So, Cap them first. When the deck starts to really thin ( another reason for the fetch lands), full Geae's recursion is abtainable. Cap, put it back, repeat, add neasuea.
