The prizes for the last 8 were 500 pounds winner takes all. As this was rather a lot Chris,Paul,Ollie and me agreed to share as did the four others, this made for a competitive 'team' atmosphere as the semi final games were played. Ollie beat me 2-1. In these semi's Chris beat Jason and Ollie was 1-0 up against Mikey when Ian checked their sideboards and found a Red Elemental Blast in the sliver deck. Chris and Ollie ID in the final (fizzle) I probably won't play the Very Small deck again without changing it, so here it is 3 Soltari Foot Soldier 3 Nomad En-Kor 1 Resistance Fighter 1 Infantry Veteran 4 Soltari Priest 4 White Knight 4 Warrior En-Kor 3 Soltari Monk 3 Longbow Archer 1 Order of the White Shield 2 Soltari Champion 4 Crusade 1 Aura of Silence 3 Disenchant 2 Cursed Scroll 1 Pacifism 1 Armageddon 4 Tithe 15 Plains This deck is great against most things but suffers against Guildmages and Tradewinds. On that weekend the only match I lost was against Ollie (when I had bad mana draws) who I beat in the Swiss. Best deck around was the B/g/u Living Death thing.
