Subject: Shrieking Intruder Date: Sun, 5 Apr 1998 17:54:42 EDT From: Eskimodav To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Hey Frank (I hope that's right), I tried sending you a deck earlier, but I wasn't sure if you'd take it. My friend told me about The Dojo and I have to admit, it rocks. He said that I should send in a couple of my best decks, so here is one of newer ones: "Shrieking Intruder" Blue 4x Intruder Alarm 4x Shrieking Drake (I finally found a use for these) 3x Man O' War 2x Mystical Tutor 2x Mana Leak 3x Propaganda (maybe 4 of these) Green 4x Birds of Paradise 3x Quirion Elves (a wannabe BOP) 3x Aluren 3x Hurricane (damage) 2x Worldly Tutor White 3x Contemplation (life) 2x Disenchant 2x Enlightened Tutor Land 5x Island 3x Gemstone Mine 3x City of Brass 2x Undiscovered Paradise 4x Brushland 3x Adakar Wastes Sideboard is still a little skecthy. I'm thinkin' Chill, Warmth, Hydroblast, and COP: Red against Sligh. Perhaps a Light of Day and a Reap against heavy black decks. The Premise of this deck is Infinite life and damage. First, you need a BOP/Quiron Elves. Then and Intruder Alarm and a Contemplation. When you get a Shrieking Drake, play it w/ mana from the BOP and return it back to your hand. This will gain you a life from Contemplation and the BOP will untap because of Intruder Alarm. Keep on playing the Drake until you have all the life you need. The damage dealing is trickier. Start off w/ the same scenario as above, but you need another BOP or an Aluren plus a Hurricane. You tap both BOP's for mana (U for the Drake and G to start the Huricane) and cast the Drake, thereby untapping the BOP's. Tap them both over and over again for the Drake and mana for the Hurricane. Be careful not to make the hurricane bigger than the amouunt of life you have. If you have the Aluren, you only need one BOP and you can substitute a Jellyfish for the Drake. Since this deck needs a lot of cards to work, I included the Tutors to get the right cards. Defense is also a weak point in this deck, so I threw in Propaganda. I would like any input/criticism on this deck. Thanks a lot, The Savage Eskimo, of "The Monkey Pimps"
