The idea revolves around the 'Counter Post' deck but utilizes Stronghold and Tempest, on the most part. It is as yet untested, although it will be in use by the begining of April. Anyway enough waffle her she is: COUNTER LAB Creature Removal (8) 4 x Breathstealer Crypts 4 x Megrim Creatures (4) 4 x Lab Rat Creature Control (2) 2 x Portcullis Attack Slowdown (3) 3 x Propaganda Creature Removal (6) 2 x Enfeeblement 4 x Diabolic Edict Counters (12) 2 x Capsize 2 x Lobotomy 4 x Counter Spell 4 x Manaleak Its Needed (3) 3 x Jet Medallions Land (22) 11 x Swamp 11 x Island Early Game The idea behind this deck is for the first four rounds remove any of opponents creatures with edicts etc and counter any spells etc with manaleaks etc....Then buy turn four have a megrim and a breathstealer in play, forcing your opponent to reveal each card he draws and either pay 3 life to keep a creature or discard it and take two life. Forcing a Lock out on creatures from oppenents deck. Mid Game If he does keep any creaturs then counter them when they are cast. If cant counter then hopefully propagandas will slow him down a bit....once oppenents creatures are removed or being removed, via capsize etc, start producing the lab rats...and swarm him, whilst countering / capsizing anything he brings out, or if he has no creatures in play then produce two lab rats drop the portcullis and sit back and contemplate your navel while the rats go to work...The lobotomys were thrown in just as a measure to remove annoying cards out of opponents deck, cursed scrolls etc End Game You win, hopefully. I have not put a sideboard together but am thinking of including Hydroblasts, Perish, Chill etc.... Please give me any feedback on this deck as i feel it has potential to working rather well but at this stage is by no means tournement competitve... another idea ive had using the Breathstealer / Megrim combo utilizes Stasis Have Fun Nick Bailey (Weirdfysh@hotmail.com)
