Pursuit of Knowledge. 3 Sylvan Library 3 Pursuit of Knowledge 4 Gerards Wisdom 3 Wall of Blossoms 2 Wall of Essence 3 Staunch Defenders 1 Avenging Angel 4 Gaia's Blessing 4 Mind Stone 3 Wrath of God 2 Puppet Strings 2 Desert Twister 2 Disenchant 4 Vec Townships 2 Brushlands 9 Plains 9 Forests This deck will perform extremely well against almost anything except heavy counterspells, in the area of 12+. Otherwise the walls will bring the weenie beats to a slow trickle until you can wrath them all away or play Defenders or strings. The Walls of Essence stop a Sligh deck so quickly and once you get off your first Sylvan/Pursuit of Knowledge usually followed by a Gerry for 20+ life the game will be more than over. In case your wondering about the Sylvan/Pursuit of Knowledge combo, the ruling I heard was that since the PoK's effect replaces the Sylvan's draw effect, you won't lose life for not returning the Sylvan cards to the top of your library. The Desert Twisters are just for fun so I can recur them and destroy all my opponents permanents, If I were to play this in a tournament I would replace them with Creeping Molds and remove the Angel for something a little more serious. Maybe those new spirit-linked angels. The sideboard should include the regular anti red cards like Passages and Warmth but also the other 2 Walls of Essence and possibly the 4th Wall of Blossoms in case you run into something too fast for just 5 walls. Try this deck, it's not uncommon to end games with 100+ life but be warned, it is extremely time intensive and really boring for your opponents once you seize total control of the game. Chris Cojocar
