Subject: Decklist Date: Wed, 4 Mar 1998 16:20:39 +0000 (GMT) From: Johann Moller To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Here´s a little deck I wrote up recently. I haven´t assembled it yet (maybe I never will) but if anyone has tried a similar idea or uses this one please email me & tell me how it does against the various decktypes. SuperFog(tm) - WGu - type II --------------------------------- 4x Gerrard´s Wisdom - The Engine 2x Wrath of God - Should perhaps use more 2x Disenchant - Don´t like disks & Auras 1x Aura of Silence - Gotta love those Auras :) Maybe I should have more 2x Constant Mists - A lock if you have the Druid or Howlers 4x Mulch - The Engine 2x Hermitic Druid - These, like ophie, are basically healing salves 4x Gaea´s Blessing - The Engine 2x Mirri´s Guile - Cheaper than Sylvan 3x Propaganda - Speed bump for creatures 1x Megrim - This always comes as a surprise 3x Winter Orb - Best card in Magic, works in almost any deck. 4x Howling Mine - The Engine 4x Lotus Diamond - Great with the two cards above 3x Undiscovered Paradise 3x Brushland 2x Reflecting Pool 1x Gemstone Mine 1x Thalakos Lowlands 6x Plains 4x Forests 2x Island Sideboard: ------------------------- 3x City of Solitude - Kills control decks 2x Pyroblast - Force out the City 2x Perish - These go in for wrath against Stompy 2x Dread of Night - Ditto against WW/x 2x Light of Day - Side in for Propaganda against Black/x 1x Aura of Silence - More enchantment control 1x Disenchant - ----------- " ---------- 2x Warmth - To curbe the speed of sligh So the idea is to just draw a lot of cards with Mulch & Howling Mine & then cast lots & lots of Gerrard´s. Early creature rush sould be dealt with via Wrath of God or Propaganda. Late game you can lock down creatures with SuperFog (tm). Victory can be achieved by either decking your opponent with Gaeas Blessing or if you´re in a hurry the Megrim comes in handy. A couple of Howlers, WOrb and a Megrim usually spells death in about 5 turns. NB. Do NOT drop the City if you need to use SuperFog(tm)! :) Jóhann Möller johannm@rhi.hi.is
