Subject: ProsperMegrim Date: Wed, 04 Mar 1998 16:52:04 +0100 From: Edwin De Keyser To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Hi Frank, This is my new t2 deck I'm experimenting with. mana sources : 8 island 5 swamp 4 underground river 4 quicksand (could be swapped with wastelands) the combo: 4 megrim 4 prosperity support for the combo: 4 sapphire medallion 4 helm of awakening 2 howling mine 4 timewarp disruption: 4 mana leak (maybe swap for memory lapse) 3 diabolic edict 4 wall of souls 4 wall of tears 2 capsize The puropose of this deck is to get out some meddalions or helms. Then cast megrim when you have a mana leak to counter their disenchants. You should stop your opponent's creatures until then with the walls and edicts. The Howling Mines are in the deck to get key cards earlier, but they're not really necessary. Once the megrim is out cast prosperity with all your available mana, but leave 2 islands untapped. Use the 2 blue mana to cast a timewarp, since you've got at least 3 helm-medallions out it has the same casting cost as a time walk. Then prosperity again until they've got 17 cards in their hands. That's easy to accomplish with all the mana artifacts. Then, it's their turn and if they can't kill you in that turn, they die in their discard phase. Edwin De Keyser -the worst scrub in Belgium---
