Subject: Stronghold deck - Haunting Druid Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 14:21:22 -0500 From: Lepine.Simon@ic.gc.ca (Lepine, Simon: BSCOTT) To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com ('fkusumot@ix.netcom.com') Here's a funny combo deck using Stronghold's Hermit Druid ability to put your entire library into your graveyard (if you're playing all non basic lands, of course). What's good about this combo (Druid and Haunting Misery) is that you can pull it off on turn 3 and it requires only 2 cards. What's bad (and probably makes it non-viable) is that it relies on a 1/1 critter. So maybe some suppport cards (preferably creatures, you need 20 in the graveyard, and you're gonna draw some, so you need a good amount in the deck) that removes summonig sickness or that can save the druid would be good. I decided to add Shallow Grave cause it works great to get him out of the graveyard and use it before your opponent can stop you. The deck also has 4 Necratogs and 4 Goyfs, so it has another way to victory. Also included are 2 Flings to sac the Goyf or Tog on the turn you play it or in response to removal, or it your opponent has some blocker. Here it is anyway. This is just a draft. This deck was made in 5 mins, so it could use some improvement, but it looks like fun. Have Fun Simon
