Subject: Green Necro deck Date: Fri, 27 Feb 1998 13:26:48 -0500 From: "Jamie & Mare" To: Well, despite their best efforts - WOTC has given green a sub theme that none of us realize - I would like to thank WOTC for Provoke - I haven't used the card - but as far as I'm concerned the main whine I have about green is the fact that it has no creature elim. Might I remind everyone that provoke is the only cantrip creature elim (I'm trying to be positive here - bear with me.) So - with that in mind - I started thinking.... I'm really tired of emptying my hand - and then getting it all wrathed away, and sitting with an empy hand while my opponent pounds me. Provoke and Wall of blossoms got me thinking.... cantrip creatures? I can play a wall of blossoms for free? Striped bears - 2/2 for four is really, really, bad - but then - they are for free. Feral Instinct? another GG for free? (free as in they don't cost you a card...) Hmm, we might have something to wrok with here. 4 quirion rangers (needed for any recycle deck) 4 wall of blossoms - play me for free - (great in a recycle deck - draw two cards.) 4 Striped Bears - play me for free - (great in a recycle deck - draw two cards.) 2 Arctic Wolves - play me for free - (great in a recycle deck - draw two cards.) 2 Stampeding Wildebeasts - just, well - I think you see the connection. 2 scragnoth - just because I think these are the best green card ever made. 2 Sex Monkey - just cause he goes so good with wildebeasts 20 creatures - almost all of them cost you no cards. 2 Game Overrun - just because this is the second best card for green... 4 feral instinct play me for free - (great in a recycle deck - draw two cards.) 4 provoke play me for free - (great in a recycle deck - draw two cards.) 2 recycle 4 Creeping mold - just the bomb - and always needed. and thats about it - sure - its got a ton of crappy creatures in it - but you get to play them all for a free card so they replace themselves. Its a little mana intensive, and maybe it just sucks cause I haven't even played it once yet - but it sure LOOKS like a card advantage deck. Something to think about? later Jamie C.
