The 187-deck features as many 187- and semi-187-style creatures as possible. A 187 creature is a creature that has a bury target X when it comes into play, or similar effect. (187 is the police code for murder, and damned if that ain't the perfect name for what the deck does). The 187 Creature List (so far) (WICIP - "When it comes into play") Nekrataal - buries a target nonblack nonartifact creature WICIP Serpent Assassin - (portal) you may choose to bury nb/na creature WICIP Knights of the Mist - buries a target Knight WICIP Man-o-War - WICIP returns target creature to owner's hand Uktabi Orangutan - buries a target artifact WICIP Fire Imp (portal) deals 2 damage to target creature WICIP 187-At-Death creatures (does effect WIGTG - "When it goes to graveyard") Abyssal Gatekeeper - both players bury a creature WIGTG Bogardan Firefiend - deals 2 damage to target creature WIGTG 187AD creatures aren't nearly as good as regular 187 creatures. The 187-style deck includes the Nekrataals, Manowars, and Mist Knights (sideboarded), and uses Winter Orbs, Undiscovered Paradises, and a shitload of black weenies for the kill. Memory Lapses are your only permission in the deck, so use them in conjunction with the Orb to make the other player unable to do anything for several turns, and they don't get a new card until two turns later. - Mike Bahr - durnik@goodnet.com - http://www.goodnet.com/~durnik
