Subject: banned in type 2

 Type2 has a banned list. What a lame way to start a new year. The banning of
Academy may have been a good idea, but I doubt it. First it was weakened by
being a land, only one could be played a turn. Also it was legendary, making
it only one in play. It's not as though there are no ways to destroy land
especially nonbasic land. I've heard people complain that Academy players will
just tap your lands with MOMa before playing Academy. Even if you kill the
academy they could still go off with a mana vault. The broken card is MOMa! It
is too difficult to pull the combo off with just twiddles and  jolts! It's not
going to happen with any consistency, anyway. Wizards even said in a duelist
issue that the  casting cost of MOMa had to be changed because it was broken
at 3UUU. If the casting cost needed to be changed, maybe the card itself was
broken to begin with.
     Windfall is another matter altogether. This card probably should be
restricted in type1. However, in type 2, it is rarely great. The environment
right now is speed, people are dropping their hands down to three or four
cards anyway. Mox diamonds everywhere ( except for some reason, no where that
I can get any ). And if it is going head to head with control it is prime
candidate to be countered. Against Survival-Nightmare this card is almost
suicide. I think that any reason stating card advantage is ridiculous. Disk
and Wrath of God do the same things in different ways! Many cards give an
advantage, that's why we play them.
      In any case I am really upset. No card should be made if it's to be
banned. Who will reimburse us for investing into these cards, and into this
company? I am sending my windfalls and academies to wizards, attn.: damaged
product, with a note reading: "I would like the cash value of these cards in
the pre- banned type2 market. Because they don't seem to work in any of my
decks, apparently they're broken."
