Most folks don't use the 6x9 cards for more than a curiosity. Some of us, however, have been working on building decks with the Big Cards! I, for one, have two 40 card decks (drafted just after Origins, this year) and have had a BLAST playing with them at stores in my area, pre-release tournies (in between rounds), etc. Having been a Magic player for about 4 years, now, I've seen a lot of Magic and this format has been the most fun I've had in quite some time. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a competitive player (with a respectable Limited rating, anyway) and enjoy tournies as much as the next guy. Bottom line, though, is I play for fun! Serving the beatings with 3 Mondo-large Juzams, or Autumn Willow and a brace of HUGE Shivans is just too much fun. You should see the crowds that gather at the tournies when we pull them out. One of the local store owners even has built a deck to play the large cards and others are following. I even heard talk of a Big Magic tourny at GenCon or Origins, coming up perhaps as soon as next year! Arena may be well served by creating more alternate art cards (like the Disenchant, lands, and others like the Counterspell and Incinerate) but let's not throw the baby out with the bath water! WOTC - keep the 6x9 "Big Magic" cards, but perhaps consider alternating with unique art from an "Arena Set".... just my .02 from Maryland! Urza's is a ton of fun...;-)
