        This is concerning the JSS (Junior Super Series) and the way it's being
run. Myself, and many other feel that a change needs to occur. First off I
would like to attend the first and most current disappointment among many of
the JSS contenders.

WHERE IS THE DRAFT!!!!

        Many posts were posted on the Dojo and other pages concerning the format of
The JSS. Since the JSS started in the beginning of  last year the format has
stayed the same at all the events which is T2 (standard). We would like a
change. This proves no skill but only that you can go to the Internet get
good decks that were prepared by others and bring them to the event. With
draft for a portion of the major events (hopefully the Championships in Jan
99) It would balance out the tournament much more and those with more skill
would rise to the top. Also it would test the players in more environments
just like the world championships is for the masters. They play just about
every environment e.g. draft, t2, rath cycle (at the time). We would like
something more like more like the masters. The SS is considered to be a joke
among many of the top players and it's because the level of competition you
have to go through to get free money (scholarship awards). So by adding
draft and it will increase the level of skill needed to win not just
bringing a T2 deck cuz you know how to copy of the net. Last year during the
JSS Many people started a chain on The Dojo about how draft should be added
and nothing was done about it. I fear that the work put into the Junior
Super Series is very minimal. The management running the SS are not
listening to what a majority of the contenders are saying in how they can
help the SS.

My second concern is WHERE ARE THE AGE FILTERS?? We have been wondering this
for the last 3 months since the JSS stared this year. I have been layed off
numerous times when asking when they were going to be posted on the DCI
rankings page. One of the operators at wotc told me that they were going to
be posted in 2-4 weeks. I waited 2 months and nothing happened?? We need to
know where we place among the other contenders since the top 15 juniors in
each division gain an invite to the Championships. We need to know now where
we place among these other contenders it would help very much.

Please make a change wotc.
