  I think that the biggest problem here is that there is no way to enforce
good behavior.  There are two options that I can see:
  #1: If someone is being a dick to you, yell at him.  Then get your friends
and jump him outside.  Then in a couple of days, light his house on fire, or
whatever you see fit.
  #2: Stop playing Magic because you, unlike those Magic houligans, have
manners and ethics or whatnot.
    As you can hopefully see, there is no real answer about how to eliminate
unsportsman-like conduct.  So DEAL WITH IT.  At your job, if a co-worker is a
dick, you have to deal with it.  Do you go to your boss every time someone
insults you?  There are dicks in the world, and we all have to deal with them.
What makes Magic different?  Magic is a part of my everyday life, ergo I must
deal with people I may not want to.  People who work at fast food places have
to deal with people that they may want to spit on just as soon as look at, but
they have to be mature and handle these people politely.
    I'm not trying to say that I'm the nicest person to play you could find,
but at least I have a sense of honor, and wouldn't outright cheat.  Much.
Well, I'm not rude.
    Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is, we all have to deal with sh*t
in our lives.  This is just another example.  Thank you, Ms. Nicoloff, but
there will be no "polite police" for Magic.  I would quit.  Most of the Pro
Tour would probably quit.  And most importantly, no one wants to see what 1984
would be like if it were reality.
    So remember, kids, deal with your own sh*t.
