Other than the Pro Tour (and subsequent PTQ's) we cant "force" tournament organizers to run one format over another. The TO's simply run the tournaments that their players want run. To be Honest, we wish there were more extended tournaments being run. Its a great format that doesn't force players to constantly redesign their decks. So, if you want to see more Extended tournaments, tell your local TO! They are the ones who decide what tournaments are going to be run week to week, not the DCI.
