What I want to know, do Wizards of the Coast have any plans on amending for these rules changes? They must. These are to violent changes. They must have some other aspect that they're planning to introduce. Has Mr. Jackson read the whole Rulesbook? I do not see the Instant/Interrupt issue as a dramatic change. It will simplify the game, certainly, but ruin it? I do not believe so. I wonder; will we miss it much? Does anyone miss the rule that once stated that: 'All damage resolves last in an Instant Batch', (you know, when it didn't matter if you Giant Growthed a Creature before or after a Lightning Bolt)? The Mana Pool is a perplexing concept, unnecessary and quite expendable. I do not foresee that it's removal from the game will affect it much. I could --of course-- be wrong ... No more Damage Prevention Phase? So? One less phase for the Rules Lawyers to deal with/manipulate. Bear in mind, people, we still have to see how Wizards plan to deal with Damage Prevention. In most likelihood, it will follow the normal Instant chronological order. I'm no expert on the issue, but I hardly think Wizards will remove Damage Prevention. Now ... Tapping an Artifact does NOT deactivate it!? What the? This is an issue I'm scared of. Howling Mine, Winter Orb, Ivory Tower, Scalding Tongs, etc., etc.. These are all cards deeply affected by this clause. Whole deck types are ruined by this! All kidding left aside; What were they thinking!? The resolution to this better be good! Before I jump the gun, I want to read the Rulesbook. It may be to late at the point I get to read it, but I then have the choice to play the old way. And not be able to play tourneys.
