"Bill Gates declares MTG the highest form of thinking mans sport
and buys the company."

Seattle, Washington: Earlier today Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft
corporation, called a press conference to announce that he had
just acquired the latest jewel in Microsoft's illustrious crown
with the purchase of locally based Wizards of the Coast.  At the
press conference Mr. Gates declared Magic:The Gathering(tm), the
flagship of Wizards line of games, to be "the highest form of
thinking man's sport" and admitted a long term interest in the
game.  He also claimed he own not only the company but 92% of all
Black Loti on existence.

Since the take over major reshuffling has occurred with Bill
declaring Duelist Convocation International(DCI) to require a
major overall, and summarily suspending all sanctioned play and
players, effective immediately.  One of the first effects felt by
players was the immediate decommissioning of the online Oracle(tm)
Database which Mr. Gates has declared will be transferred to
Microsoft Access(tm) immediately.

Richard Garfield, creator of Magic:The Gathering, gave his
blessing to the take over and congratulated Bill personally on his
rise to the illustrious position of a Level VI Certified Judge.
