Subject: Watching WotC and the DCI! Date: Wed, 09 Sep 1998 23:50:04 PDT From: "Chris Trembleton" To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com Mr. Dojo, could you please post this message on the Dojo.I cleaned up I think most of the spelling errors. I think that by organizing a resource of Wotc's sponsor information we can make this game better forall. With recent outcry concerning cheating on the pro tours an other wotc events, I think its time to take continued steps to ensure that WotC runs cleaner and legitimate tournies.Sure - they got rid of that guy for a yr that tried to cheat; but that could be jus a token gesture (Lap-dance Long is still in de game afta all) Anyways, how? How to make them [wotc] come clean? Write to the dojo? Well sure, but why not write to their SPONSORS?! Take a scan on dejanews, mail their sponsors the hunreds of posts complaining bout cheeters to them and see what happens. I say we gather ways to contact the sponsors via email addresses, snail mail etc but lets face it the best way is email. So I purpose the following. Lets find the sponsors contact information. lets publish it as a resource so everyone can easily contact Magic's sponsors, to complain or praise [fair is fare after all].Please do what you can to to help in this regard so that we the players can work together to assure that Wotc continues to treat Magic and us players fairly. So this is what we need too get started. Contact info on ESPN, MCI, DISNEY and YAHOO. Email me anycontact info you find on thse sponsors, post here or Dojo.
