Subject: Exodus Single Card Stratagies - SpellBook Date: Tue, 9 Jun 1998 14:58:38 -0700 From: "Marble Quarry" To: (I appologize for forgetting my name and e-mail on the last transmit.. won't happen again!) I have to defend this card as a Good card for the Enviroment...well at least for shock value... It costs nothing, and it Forces your opponent to get rid of it against Many deck types... Why? You have no discard phase... no big deal Right? Wrong! Typical Opponent Guy "Before your Turn is over I capsize your Mountain..." You think a second and say "Fine... anything else no? Well since you backed me up to my Main phase I lay down my mountain again, cast Furnace of Rath, cast Viashino, Take 8 please.. " ohhhhhh now you begin to see? Imagine the fun against Most blue decks with all the buyback when they really can't use it effectively against you all for Nada. And it's more than this! You dancing gnomes? Well then I cast Fireball, StoneRain, Whatever Sorcery you desire! Or just sock 'em for 4 with a Viashino or 6 with a Ball! Imagine for 0 you never have to hear "Well before the end of your turn I..." Sorry buddy :) Beyond this.... theres nothing wrong with 18 point Gerrards and such. Draw cards till your brain falls out and don't worry about that 7 max. rule. And Most important Cursed Rack does not affect you! ;) Anyhow just the look of frustration on players faces as they decide what to do with all those at the end of your turn efects is just about priceless, and with Cursed Scrolls being all the rage dropping a free card with a semi-cool effect for nothing is not altogether a losing strategy, especially against Blue!
