Subject: Magic at an all time low

        This is an issue that i think should be discussed a lot. Here
are my thoughts on this.

        What i believe and many others believe is that magic is at an all
time low. This is for many reasons. These reasons are as unnoticed as
easy to make sligh decks, or the complexity that portal ADDS. I
personally think the biggest problem is being able to find internet
decks and copy them.

        I think that many sites, such as thedojo are ruining magic. Any
bad player can come and copy one of the decks to beat. I have heard
people complain "Oh, I don't get this. I copied a dojo deck and I still
lost". This is because IF YOU COPY A DOJO DECK, YOU ARE A SCRUB. I am
not saying that the dojo decks are even all good. However I am not
saying the decks are bad. I am simply saying that if any player can use
the internet to copy a deck then magic is at a low.

        I think that a year and a half ago magic [atleast t2] was at a
high. There were fewer ways to find and copy decks so magic was fun. The
only way to copy decks were from buying those horrible goerge baxter
books. You had to be original. People played goblin decks or merfolk
decks or black vise decks or WHATEVER with a chance to win. And then it
started. Some guy found a 4 card combo and built a deck around it. Those
4 cards were Birds of paradise, Instill Energy, Kismit, and Stasis. He
thought to himself "Hey, what if i post a deck on the internet, wont
that be fun." And then it happened! Everyone posted decks. The original
necro decks and the u/w prison decks were posted on the internet and a
few people copied them. Magic slowly became worse. When i went to a
tournament and found half the people playing sligh I realized that magic
was at a low. This would have to stop. So in the end I say to the dojo
"STOP PUBLISHING DECKLISTS". If this is a site for strategy why doesn't
it publish strategies and the cards decks are based around instead of
decklists.

        Also, on a different issue I think that pre-constructed decks are
disrupting magic. I think of this as a trading point of view though.
People think about portal pre-constructeds "black bordered geddons, hmm
$8 [at high pricing] a piece with other cards. WOW. Then 5th geddons drop
%50.

        I would like to know everyone's thoughts on my posting.
