Subject: Publishing Decks.....

I have read the dojo discussions on whether or not to publish decklists and
I must say I find it all pretty annoying. Here's why:
1) If the dojo doesn't print deck listings, other sites will.
2) Masking out certain deck elements is a pretty dumb idea as most of the
deck lists I use form the dojo come from the Tourney Reports section. Try
writing a report while keeping half of the deck's contents secret. It
doesn't work.
3) And here's my main source of antagonism......
THOSE WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT "SCRUBS" USING NET DECKS ARE ONLY WHINING BECAUSE
THEY FEEL THEY ARE BEING ROBBED OF EASY WINS IN TOURNAMENTS.
How pathetic is that?

The dojo's deck lists are an invaluable resource to players. I build the
deck I like and use them to test the decks I invent for myself. I don't
have the time to tune a tourney level Tradewind deck, then a Living Death
deck, then Sligh, 5cg etc etc, but I know I'm going to come up against
them. And if in playtesting my own creation gets pounded into the floor
time after time, then come tourney day I'll take the best of the decks I
have available. If that happens to be a net deck, so what? A good player
will probably still beat me. A poor player will probably lose to me.
So, all you "No Decklisting" whingers....
"STOP YOUR CARPING!"
