Subject: Dojo Decks Date: Sun, 28 Jun 1998 01:03:14 EDT From: RICKERDOO@aol.com To: fkusumot@ix.netcom.com I've had my own experience with Dojo Decks. I had went to several tournaments before i got online. I was a 50-50 player. Then one day i decided to try a Dojo deck at a tournament (summer 97). Well i picked a deck a like (Winter Orb lock deck) and proceeded to buy the cards i needed to build it. Then I proceeded to playtest it. Well I was sucessful against my friends, but i didn't like all the decks qualities. So i made a few changes of my own. I thought it played much better. Well the tournament rolled around I was ready. I was first crushed by a Buried Alive deck. Always one turn away from a lock. Then I beat a Red Burn Deck. My usual 50-50. Then guess what? I played the exact deck i had gotten from the Dojo! It wasn't even close. My changes worked to perfection. I won 20-0, 20-0. I didn't win the tournament, but was proud that my changes turned out to have improved the deck. So use the Dojo for what its good for, analizing decks, and trying to improve them. Thanks for making the Dojo a valuable tool for players. Rick Lansdown rickerdoo@aol.com
