How can someone say that posting decklists "ruins" the game. I dont know about everyone else here but when i read decklists on the dojo they give me ideas. Some decks even appeal to me a lot, and Ill admit ive played some decks that ive seen on the dojo, and despite the fact i altered them slightly, there are still someone else's creation. But let's look at the reason i played the deck. Was it because im not capable of making a deck on my own? The answer is obviously no, i consider myself as good a deckbuilder as ANYONE in the game (seriously). i did it becuase the deck looked like it could be fun to play or it was the best choice in the current metagame at the time, regardless if it was my creation or someone else's. So before you say that someone isn't a creative person before you meet them look at the reason's they play dojo decks. Some people dont have the time to make deck, others just want to play a deck becuase it looks fun, and some even havent developed the ability to make decks. Does this mean we should take the oportunity to do well/have fun at a tournement from these people? i think not. One last thing before i sign off. I think Dorian wrote that foolish letter in anger of losing to player of "lesser" skill then himself, or simply becuase he has been in a slump and has been having trouble making a deck that is capable of beating dojo decks. Let me say this, a loss is a loss, regardless if you drew 1 land, 10 lands or somone beat you with a deck from the dojo they did not create. if you cant take advantage of everyone playing dojo decks then your not a good a player as your ego suggests. People should be able to do whatever they want, and you should not take away there opportunity to post, play, or improve decks off the dojo simply becuase you want to be creative yourself and cant be. please send questions/comments to the Dojo, not me. peace. -Matt Battaglia
