Hello,
    This is Brian Tsukimura i am using my moms email too lazy to open
hotmail.
This is regarding the issue of posting decklists on thedojo.  I think
that it helps a lot of people compete at a higher level and helps them a
lot but also it sometimes robs people of all their hard work.  I use
thedojo for metagaming and also for inspiration or if there is a deck
that i like a lot i improve on it.  Recently at a few tourneys i have
seen some people not as good as other people at the game with the decks
to beat and trading for cards in the decks!!!  these people go on the
dojo look on the decks to beat then maybe look in the tourny reports and
then look for the deck and not even read the report.  I HATE it when i
play in a tourney and i can tell my opponent what is their decklist and
sometimes even their sideboard.  It would be interesting to see what
would happen if all magic strategy sites closed for like 2 months and I
can almost guarantee that the true players people who made their own
decks will not get robbed in any tourneys by random dudes or chumlys.
Over here in Hawaii the compition is not as good as in the mainland.
there are the good players the chumlys and the people who play for fun.
but usually when i go to a tourney i see maybe 50% or more of the decks
there are net decks and i really dont like it.  i am not saying that i
use original decks but i dont ever copy the deck card for card and
certainly dont copy the sideboard.  i have improved in magic over the
past few years.  before i was like 1580 in both formats but now i am
like a least 1825 in both formats.  i wasnt looking on the net before
and couldnt see what everyone is playing and then get a deck that would
perform better against the majority of the field.  i think that if
thedojo stopped posting decklists it would ultimately hurt the dojo
because a lot of people would just go to some crap site like mindripper
or something to go and look for a deck and not read any strategy and
just copy decks.  i would appreciate feedback from anyone who reads
