OK OK, there is only so much you can read before a reply is indeed
provoked.  As long as we are going to run this subject into the ground I
thought I should tell you all about one the WORST Cheaters that I've ever
seen, his name is John Thompson.  This guy has done more shady things than
anyone I know.  I've seen him drop cards on the floor and then he somehow
miraculously comes back up with one more card than he had on his way down.
I've seen him berate judges for their ineffectiveness. In fact, at a
qualifier in North Carolina I saw him basically take four cards out his
notebook during a sealed deck qualifier.  When asked why he was doing this
he replied that he was building a new type II deck based around Kaerivik's
Torch, Hammer of Bogardon and Savage Twister..seemed kinda neat but I
couldn't for the life of me understand why he wanted to make his deck in
the highlander (one of each card) style...later a friend told me he lost to
a timely Savage Twister, hmmmmmmmmm.  But that's not even the worst of it.
This Thompson guy actually has a group of friends that sit around and laugh
at the rest of the magic playing world about how dumb we all are and how if
you don't rape the system the system will rape you.  This leads me into the
current 'Hot Topic' of the day, that damnable Mike Long what do we do about
him.

You guys can say what you want to about Mike Long, oh no wait, you guys
already do that don't you...but any of you who think that a guy who is 11-0
and the guarenteed number one seed in the final eight of nationals is gonna
cheat is either totally naive or an idiot.  I loved listening to Scott
Johns and Chris Pikula ranting and raving about how Long's bloom deck was
61 cards and therefore he must have been cheating his with a bloom stuck up
his rectum all tournament long.  When the deck list comes out, lo and
behold the best bloom player in the world has, gasp! are you ready for
this, a tight 60 card deck!  I don't know if Johns or Pikula apologized for
trying to insight a riot at the tournament, most likely not, I'm sure Chris
at least justified it to himself saying that "Well if mike didn't do that
he MUST have done something else.."  Man what an attitude.  For those of
you who don't know Mike, he stands a scrubby 5'6" and weighs about a manly
buck and a half, he graduated from James Madison University with a degree
in history, wears shoes from the BASS outlet and has a very nice and
personable girlfriend named Sally (hence the name of the Soul Warden  being
referred to as a Sally), he pays rent to live in a little house in
Charlottesville Virginia and I have personally seen him put together decks
that he has given away to kids just learning to play the game through the
volunteer work his mother does at the public library.  Mike Long is a
living and breathing person and he is fully aware of what is being written
about him on The Dojo and he is also fully aware that according to Frank
(mr. Mojo himself) the Dojo gets over 20,000 hits a day...it doesn't take a
math major to figure out that that probably means over 200,000 people have
read all the posts about him in the past few weeks.  It's not a fun
position to be in.  And no matter what he may or may not have done in the
past before I joined Tongo Nation I do not believe that he cheats at his
card play at these pro tour events...not when he is winning the GP D.C. and
not when he is in the top eight (Paris) and not when he is 4-2 and out of
the second day (PT New York) and especially not when he is 11-0 in a 12
round tourny (Nationals)  but whatever your opinion, think before shouting
it out for the world to see.

As for John Thompson (see 'playing for second' in this same post) the stuff
I said about him at the top of this post is entirely untrue...but maybe
alot of people will read this post get bored half-way and never make it
down here..its no fun having you name in lights is it mr. thompson?  He
refers to being cheated by a member of Tongo Nation...that member is
me...John you are basically the only person in my magic playing career to
EVER accuse me of such antics, at first I was angry with you, now I realize
that it is just sad really, you were having yourself a good tournament and
you lost to me and it knocked from the final eight of a qualifier, I'm not
sorry about beating you, what happened between us was a dispute over life
totals, anyone who plays this game knows that this happens on occassion, I
could just as easily accuse you of cheating me and trying to make me have
less life so i couldn't draw cards under Necropotance..I necroed to a life
that you COULD NOT KILL ME with what you had on the board, the life
argument began, obviously if I was at the life YOU claimed then you could
kill me with what was on the board...in order to facilitate an agreement I
finally caved to your rendition of life total..this is not an admission to
guilt in any way shape or form..the simple fact was that I had the game won
with the cards in my hand already as I proved by winning...the part that
rankles me the most is how you have now Slandered me twice in a forum that
gets 20,000 hits a day and never once did you mention that at YOUR REQUEST
I stayed and played THREE more games with you after the match was over
because you wanted to see if your "BeatNeck" deck really had a
chance...nevermind the fact that it was the second to last round of the
tournament (oh boy how fun was it for me to play even MORE agonizing necro)
nevermind the fact that i was both nice and congeniale (sp?) with you but
what type of man are you for being nice to my face and then posting
slanderous remarks about me to a worldwide forum in which I've worked very
hard to gain the respect and friendships that I have developed.  What type
of man are you indeed.
