     After having read some of the articles on cheating, I can say I am
thoroughly disgusted.  One guy said he was tired of getting the short
end of the stick,  and that he was now going to cheat to get his
advantage.  Another one gave me about 5 ways to cheat, and how to win
unfairly.
     I read about people getting pissed that no one's doing anything to
stop the unfair play.  How the DCI should get involved, make penalties
stiffer, and get the bad guys out.
I say this to them.  Don't rely on others to pave the road for you.  The
ONLY way Magic will ever be a fair game is if the players make it a fair
game.  I would take losing ANY DAY over cheating for a win.  The last
time I checked, Magic was about having fun.  Well maybe not for you, but
it sure is for me.  It's about drawing the card that wins you the game,
and the feeling that comes with it.  It's about knowing that you
yourself, can use your cards and your strategy to win a dual against
another player.  It's not about altering cards.  It's not about
winning.  No, no....it's really not.
     So maybe if I see you at a tournament, we can have a great time,
and play a great, fair match.  But if you cheat against me, I might as
well just get up, and walk away, because when you play a cheater, there
is no game.  Just a lousy match that never ends up in you favor, even if
you win.
