Not too abusable in t2, though Stronghold has given it some possibilities. However, think Extended and t1. Hymn to Tourach becomes a Lightning blast AND a bonus package for BB. Wheel of Fortune....Just the thought alone scares me..... The Shallow Grave/Nicol Bolas combo is literally Fatal now (7 from nicol + 14 from Mergim from the forced discard of 7=21=death.). Hypnotic Specter is truly evil. Stupor is great. The list goes on and on ad nausem...... Pursuit of Knowledge. Let's just list the ways to abuse this little baby, shall we? Brainstorm, Dream Cache, Sylvan Library, Ancestral Recall, Prosperity, etc.... God, this is just too good. Mox Diamond. The various "ways to abuse the shit out of me" have been posted for weeks now. Ensnaring Bridge. As if Cursed Scroll decks weren't giving us enough problems. Now, you can dump your hand, and not have to worry about big creatures coming at you. Scroll away, people. Reins of Power. This one isn't too bad, but I can easily see it making it into any creatureless decks, or at least in the sideboard against weenie horde. A few decks will probably pop up around this card. Mortuary. T2 Fruity Pebbles. This card is just another copy of Volrath, from Vanguard II. Gob. Bombardment + Recycle + 2 Ornithopters/Phyrexian walkers + Mortuary. Yes, it's a lot to get out, but in all reality, it's acutally quite easy. Vineyards will help to get the cards out quick, along with the Mox Diamond. Cards like Pursuit of Knowledge will help you draw mass cards to get it into your hand. Sure, it's not as quick as the "original" fruity, but I'd still watch this one, especially considering that Mortuary is the only black card you'd need in the deck. Other abuses include cards like Ball lightning, which can now be used forever. Volrath's Shapeshifter. Screw that discard ability, Can we say Buried Alive? Think of it. After the turn you drop it, it's no longer sick, and has no "comes into play" drawbacks. Hmmm.....Phyrexian Dreadnaught, Nicol Bolas, even (yes i am serious) Leviathan! Mass amounts of abuse here. Don't laugh. Take away those upkeep costs, comes into play effects, etc, and THEN think of how dangerous the forementioned cards are! Well, those are my "abuse me" picks from Stronghold. I've probably forgotten a few, but I think I've covered the biggest abuse factors.
