The environment is being redefined by the introduction of "Stronghold", which has given rise to some new deck types, and revitalized older ones. Mana Leak, in particular, has made counters splashable, and Shock has made first turn removal a factor to consider. The biggest card to come out of the set so far is, surprisingly enough, a wall (of blossoms). Sligh style burn, of course, continues to be strong, although has taken a big hit from the wall of blossoms.
