The environment is being redefined by the introduction of "Exodus", which has given rise to some new deck types, and revitalized older ones. Oath of Druids and Spike Weaver have made an impact on the tournament scene, as has Paladin en-Vec, Cataclysm, Survival of the Fittest, Recurring Nightmare and Carnophage. "The Oath", in particular, has given rise to a new deck style featuring disposable creatures.
