I took this to a type II tourney (small one) last week and it performed very nicely. I went 2-1, but the one I lost I was mana screwed. Outside of the tournament, it's gone 3-0, and they've been serious matches. I basically tried to take what I liked about the "Baron Harkonnen" extended deck and translate it into type II. This isn't quite the version I played; it's a little more tuned. Verdant Force is an amazing card to give the finishing blow - hardly any combination of permanents can prevent it from doing you in.. I figured it would take multiple regenerators plus a propoganda. And fortunately, I've got my disks and capsizes to prevent that from happening. The Ancestral Knowledge is a little unusual; it's there to get me land when I need it (very good at this) and it has excellent synergy with the Sylvan Library and the Gaea's Blessings. I keep debating not having the plains in there. Without it, the wraths will always be a surprise.
